Overview
Dunside wind farm is a proposed onshore site set in the Lammermuir Hills and near to EDF power solutions UK’s Fallago Rig wind farm, north of Westruther.

The final design of the wind farm is for 14 turbines with a maximum ground to blade tip height of 150 metres (two turbines), 180 metres (three turbines) and 220 metres (nine turbines). These would need to be lit up at night, and unlike Fallago Rig 1, they will be clearly visible from Lauder Common, day and night. Once operational the site would generate around 108MW of electricity.
