A consultation on two proposed connections, for two proposed windfarms, Torfichen near Gorebridge and Glenburnie/Longcroft, to a proposed new overhead line, Dunlaw ext.
Although the proposed windfarms both take up hundreds of acres, their energy output would only require small lines on wooden poles. More details in the links.
Each link only shows one salami slice at a time. The Torfichen line would have to follow similar route to Scottish Power’s proposed line from Livingston to Lauder (Harburn Galanorth).
